When the Romans finally left Britain shortly after 400 AD, they had never subdued Caledonia, as they called the region beyond Hadrian's Wall, that massive defensive structure right across northern Britain from coast to coast. It may have been the weather, or the terrain, or perhaps the northern temperament, which had for almost four hundred years prevented them from completing their final conquest. Out of the Dark Ages mists which followed the departure, there emerged in the Highland region of what was to become Scotland a system of social kinship which today spans the world.

Where it came from and how it evolved are questions which have taxed modern historian, but for hundreds of years the history of Scotland was formed according to the principles of power, loyalty, bravery, and daring. It was the powerful clans, septs and distinguished families of the nation that made it so and forged the clan system into Scotland's colorful history.

Available Styles and Colors: For our Mens Tee Shirts, we only use Gildan "Active Wear" Heavyweight Ultra Blend Shirts for maximum durability and comfort. Glidan Ultra Blend features 5.6 oz of 50% cotton and 50% polyester that is preshrunk (this insures your tee shirt will not shrink during washing). The seamless double-needle collar and quarter turned body (to eliminate center crease) has taped neck and shoulders. The sleeves and bottom hems are both double-needled for active wear. We custom design and produce all of our clothing products with an industrial press and 400° hot peel technology! This results in superior manufacturing that will outlast even store bought products. Our Tee shirts are available in sizes ranging from small to 5X. Please view the sizing chart for exact measurements for this product. Portrait designs measure between 6 to 8 inches across the product. Landscape designs (i.e. flags) measure 9 to 11 inches across the product. Our alternative smaller designs are centered under the left collar and measure between 4 to 5 inches across. We may proportional reduce the design on small and medium sizes. These tee shirts come in 6 colors; White, Ash Grey, Sand Stone, Black, Irish Green and Scottish Blue.
